To get a taste of Saint Lucian Tradition, the best place to visit is the Quarter of Choiseul. Artisans of many talents are scattered around this beautiful community, just south of Saint Lucia’s world famous UNESCO World Heritage site, the Pitons.
Hire a private tour guide who knows their way around Choiseul, to take you to the various communities – you won’t regret it!
You can see and buy pottery, straw mats, pandanus hats and bags, trays and placemats, wicker and bamboo baskets of all shapes and sizes or even buy some beautiful and very sturdy local furniture.
