Barbara Ingham and Paul Mosley’s biography, “Sir Arthur Lewis – A Biography”, describes the man, and the social relationships, behind these astonishing achievements. They consider Lewis’ friendships, rivalries and the societies in which he attempted, sometimes happily and sometimes disastrously, to intervene. Dolor delves into the authors’ thought processes, elements that were omitted and why, how the book has been received and the questions it has raised.
