“Paint the Village – Paint Our History” with Jonathan ‘JAG’ Gladding
January 26, 2019 @ 10:00 am - January 27, 2019 @ 2:00 pm

Paint the Village — Paint our History, is the fourth edition of this two-day community-based visual arts festival hosted by Jonathan Gladding. This year, it will focus on Laborie’s historical (industrial) heritage, looking at two sites: Ti Twou where there are ruins of an old plantation, with chimney still standing, and the other at Morne Leblanc (a windmill).
Participants will be invited and helped to paint / draw what they see, or what they can imagine based on the historical information given to them when arriving on site. The event will help to compile historical, artistic and technical documentation of the community’s historical heritage.
Ti Twou and Morne Leblanc, Laborie, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily
