Exhibition: “A Thirty-Year Journey of Excellence”

The 2020 Nobel Laureate Festival celebrates Veteran Calypsonian Marileen “Lady Leen” Baptiste who celebrates thirty years in the entertainment industry with an Exhibition at the Castries Town Hall Auditorium. For her commendable contribution to the calypso art form, Lady Leen was awarded the Saint Lucia Les Pitons Medal (Gold) in 2005 and a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Saint Lucian Diaspora in New York in 2019. Among her most popular tunes are “Woman in a March” and “Respect” which came out in 1990 and “My Day” released in 2019.
A celebratory Concert is scheduled for 25 April 2020.
Castries Town Hall Auditorium, Peynier Street, Castries, 28th -31st January, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
