The annual St. Lucia Diabetes & Hypertension Association’s ” DIABETES MOONLIGHT WALK” is here again with more activities added to the program!!

Annual Diabetes moonlight walk fundraiser what to do saint lucia

Micoud start point – Micoud Multi-purpose Court

Castries start point – Serenity Park

Vieux Fort start point – Town Square

Dennery walk begins at Bethel’s Blessing Event and Conference Centre/ Lyndsay’s Jewelley with a 10 minute warm up session with Lance Pony G Fitness. Participants led by the MORE FIRE BAND will then proceed up the highway, down through la Pointe, through the village and back to the starting point. A warm down session followed by a 10 minute health talk with Health Personnel will bring the event to a close.

Natural Health products sold by local entrepreneurs will also be on display. To register for this walk you can visit Plantes Place on the Dennery highway during opening hours and the Dennery Police Station between 9am and 2pm from Monday-Wednesday and fill out the form. You can also register at Plantes Place on Saturday 11 November from 10 am to 1 pm & on Sunday 12 November from 2- 4 pm. Registration costs $20 and comes with a t-shirt. If you do not want a t-shirt but would still like to participate, please wear a WHITE or BLUE shirt to show your support for those living with this illness. Night lights are also available at a cost of $5-10. Come out and show your support.
