Advancing Bio-Security Governance in the Caribbean

The UWI Cave Hill Campus has recently established a Centre for Biosecurity Studies (CBS), which is attached to the Faculty of Social Sciences. The CBS will be embarking upon an Inaugural Lecture Series and undertaking a limited tour throughout the OECS.

The UWI Cave Hill Campus will be partnering with The UWI Open Campus Saint Lucia Site to deliver this lecture by Keynote Speaker, O’Neil Hamilton – CARICOM Regional Implementation Coordinator, United Nations Security Council Resolution 1540.

The new coronavirus (COVID-19) has created a global scare, as it challenges authorities on its prevention and control. Hear a top biosecurity expert speak about securing our borders from biosecurity threats.

The public is invited to attend this FREE event.
